What the Medications Are and How They Work
Mounjaro (tirzepatide):
A GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist that helps control blood sugar levels, reduces appetite, and slows gastric emptying, helping you feel full longer and reduce calorie intake.
Wegovy (semaglutide):

Both medications are administered via a simple weekly subcutaneous injection and are intended to support sustainable, medically-guided weight management.
YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
A consultation with Nurse Kate is required before starting treatment to ensure suitability. During this appointment:

Your weight, body measurements, and vital health markers will be assessed

Before photos will be taken to track progress

Nurse Kate will demonstrate the correct use of the injection pen and provide guidance for safe self-administration

ONGOING SUPPORT & MONITORING

Face-to-face review every 4 weeks (30 minutes) to monitor progress, assess the need to increase your dose, and order a new injection pen

Weekly complimentary call to discuss side effects, troubleshoot issues, and provide additional support

During these calls, Nurse Kate can offer holistic advice or prescribe medications to manage side effects (medication charge applies)
