AQUALYX FAT DISSOLVING TREATMENT

Aqualyx is an injectable treatment, which targets and melts away stubborn pockets of fat in the body. It’s less invasive than liposuction and doesn’t require any anaesthesia. Aqualyx is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. The active ingredient induces a process called lipolysis, where the fat cells rupture and die. The Desoxychol-acid breaks down the fat cell wall releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. The bodies lymphatic system removes the fatty liquid through the venous system, where it is then processed in the same way as fatty foods are digested. It is only suitable for stubborn pockets of fat that are resistant to exercise and diet. It is an additional treatment to add to a healthy diet and exercise regime. Areas that can be treated: •   Double chin (submental fat) •   Underarm fat •   ‘Bra’ fat •   Abdominal Fat including ‘mum tums; after C-Sections •   Gynaecomastia •   Saddle Bags •   Inner and outer thighs. At GMA we offer one session every 21-28 days and mix the solution with lidocaine (numbing fluid) so ensure the process is as painless as possible.  Results are not instantaneous, and several sessions may be required for stubborn areas. Expect possible swelling, bruising and tenderness post procedure for a few days after the treatment is performed. Results: dependent on area treated.

Dermal fillers are non-permanent substances injected into your face. They fill lines and wrinkles and add volume to areas such as your lips or cheeks. How long they last depends on the type of filler and where it's injected. The effects usually last between 6 and 18 months.

NEUROTOXIN TREATMENT

By preventing and treating lines and wrinkles the skin appears smoother, more youthful and rejuvenated. Botox™ is a nerve toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It has been safely used since 1980 for medicinal purposes in healthcare. However, in 2002 Botulinum Toxin Type A was FDA approved for cosmetic purposes. Shortly after its approval in 2006, it was considered the most popular cosmetic procedure worldwide. Botulinum Toxin works by blocking nerve signals to injected muscles, temporarily inactivating movement and preventing wrinkles from appearing and worsening. Results from anti-wrinkle treatments generally last up to three to four months in initial stages of treatment. However, over time you should need fewer treatments to maintain results. There is no downtime following the procedure and the majority of patients can resume their normal activities immediately. We use the most widely known brands in our clinic, Botox™ , Bocouture and Azzalure, Alluzience, Nucieva and Letybo.
